While a majority of this 160 acre piece consists of cedar swamp forest, it still offers a wide range of habitats.  There are several nice ridges of mature hardwoods on the southern and northern borders.  The eastern border consists of open water, shrub, grass marsh, including a small creek in the northeastern corner.  Also present are stands of younger hardwood/aspen and mixed lowland spruce/fir/cedar.
