The diverse topography of this 80 acre piece translates into a wide variety of vegetation types. An open water marsh and stream occupies the southwestern corner. Shrub, grass, and lowland conifer habitats line the open water area. The central portion consists of a large mixed lowland/bog conifer stand, bordered to the northwest by lowland mixed cedar/spruce/fir, to the north by lowland hardwood and shrub/conifer wetland, and to the east by upland mixed hardwoods/conifers, including some white birch.
